What is the Dorothy Canfield Fisher Award? Each spring a committee of Vermont adults selects 30 children's novels, published in the previous year, as nominees for the Dorothy Canfield Fisher Award. Some of the books on the list are not available in our library due to content targeted for upper middle school students. Families may decide if they feel these books are appropriate for their individual child.
